GRATUITIES:  Gratuities for your step-on guide, driver, or tour manager are a voluntary way to show appreciation for excellent service. These gratuities are not included in your tour price.

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT TERMS:  Booking or traveling on any of our tours constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of these terms and conditions. In case of a discrepancy between a printed price and the actual price, the actual price at the time of booking will apply. Prices are based on conditions in effect at the time of printing and are subject to change. Any price increases will apply only to new bookings.

BOOKING AND PAYMENTS:  You may book tours in person at our office (450 Ecclestone Drive, Bracebridge, PO Box 569, P1L 1T8) or by phone (705-645-2583 or toll-free 1-800-563-1885). To confirm your reservation, your deposit (as stated in the tour brochure) must be received within four days of booking. The balance is due 45 days prior to departure unless otherwise specified. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking. All rates are per person unless otherwise stated.

OPTIONAL TRAVEL INSURANCE: Emergency medical and cancellation insurance are available for purchase through our office. Coverage should be purchased at the time of deposit. If insurance is declined, a waiver must be signed and returned before departure.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL INSURANCE OUTSIDE CANADA: Emergency medical insurance is available for an additional charge.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL INSURANCE OUTSIDE ONTARIO (WITHIN CANADA): Insured Ontario residents must present a valid Ontario health card for medical services. If not presented, the facility and/or physician may bill the Ontario resident directly. Reimbursement claims must be submitted with original receipts.

CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS AND UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES

Day Trips: All day trips are non-refundable, and payment is due at the time of booking. If your seat is sold to another customer, a full refund will be issued.

Trip Protection: Our $25 Trip Protection is available for all day trips and provides a 100% refund for cancellations up to 48 hours before departure. Cancellations within 48 hours receive credit for a future trip.

International Tours: Medical and cancellation insurance policies vary. Please consult our office before purchasing.

Unforeseen Circumstances and Itinerary Changes: While Hammond Tours & Travel makes every effort to deliver all components of our advertised tours, certain circumstances may arise that are beyond our control. These may include, but are not limited to, traffic delays, weather conditions, accidents, venue closures, or other unexpected events.

In such cases, Hammond Tours & Travel reserves the right to adjust or pivot from the published itinerary, when necessary, in the best interest of the group and the overall tour experience. We will always make reasonable efforts to provide alternate arrangements of equal value wherever possible.

Please note that while we strive to maintain our schedules, travel times and the duration of visits to specific attractions may be affected by these unforeseen factors. Participation in our tours acknowledges acceptance of these potential adjustments as part of the travel experience.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR MULTI-DAY TOURS:

61 days or more: Deposit is non-refundable.

46 to 60 days: 50% of the tour cost is non-refundable.

31 to 45 days: 75% of the tour cost is non-refundable.

30 days or less, including the day of departure: 100% of the tour cost is non-refundable. To avoid cancellation charges, we recommend purchasing cancellation insurance at the time of deposit. Pre-existing medical conditions may not be covered and should be clarified individually.

TRAVEL OUTSIDE CANADA:  Passengers are responsible for obtaining a valid passport. As of June 1, 2009, a valid Canadian passport is required for land, air, or cruise travel to the United States. Canadian residents with non-Canadian passports must identify themselves when booking. Hammond Tours & Travel is not responsible for denied access to the U.S. or other destinations.

BORDER CROSSING & MANIFEST REQUIREMENTS:  To expedite border inspections, certain border crossings require a passenger manifest. A copy of your passport page must be submitted at least one week prior to departure. Keep your passport on your person during travel.

TOUR POLICIES:

  • No smoking or alcoholic beverages are permitted on tour coaches.
  • Frequent stops are made for those who wish to smoke outside the coach.
  • Avoid wearing strong perfumes or colognes.
  • Seats may be rotated at the discretion of the tour manager.
  • Overnight tours depart from multiple locations, including Huntsville, Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Orillia, and Barrie.

We act solely as an agent for tour members in arranging accommodations, transportation, sightseeing, and meals and are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from third-party service providers. Hammond Tours & Travel reserves the right to cancel or modify any tour as necessary and to accept or reject any individual whose conduct is deemed detrimental to the tour. When traveling outside Ontario or Canada, travelers should be aware that local standards and conditions may differ from those in Ontario.

TRAVELLER RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Travelers with disabilities are welcome but must be accompanied by a capable travel companion if assistance is needed. We regret that we cannot provide individual assistance for mobility, dining, or other personal needs.
  • Special needs (e.g., mobility aids, oxygen, service animals) must be disclosed at the time of booking. We will attempt to accommodate all requests but cannot guarantee all needs will be met.
  • If we cannot accommodate your requirements while maintaining safe operations, we will ensure your return to the point of embarkation.

HEALTH & SAFETY GUIDELINES:

  • Hand sanitizer dispensers are available in our vehicles. We recommend bringing a personal travel kit with sanitizer, gloves, and disinfectant wipes.
  • Passengers are encouraged to wear a face covering/mask while traveling and frequently sanitize hands.
  • Passengers should not travel if sick, exposed to illness, or running a fever.
  • Passengers who have traveled outside the country within 14 days must notify our staff before boarding.

PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS:  By participating in our tours, you consent to having your image used in promotional materials, including our website, brochures, and social media pages.
